Discover the Yorkshire Terrier Breed

Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately known as Yorkies, are small companion dogs admire for their elegant coats, alert expressions, and lively personalities. They are often affectionate, curious, and intelligent, and they can develop strong bonds with their owners. With gentle guidance, positive-reinforcement training, and early socialization, a Yorkie puppy can learn important routines and become more comfortable with new people and everyday experiences.

The term “teacup” is commonly use to describe particularly small Yorkies, but it is not a separate officially recognized breed. Bambi’s adult size cannot be guaranteed, as her growth will depend on genetics, nutrition, and overall health.

Caring for Bambi at 10 Weeks Old

At 10 weeks of age, Bambi needs a comfortable home, nutritious puppy food, fresh water, regular rest, and gentle, supervised play. Small puppies generally benefit from frequent meals suited to their size, consistent toilet breaks, and a predictable daily routine. A veterinarian can recommend appropriate vaccinations, deworming, parasite prevention, and regular health examinations.

Because very small puppies can be fragile, careful supervision is essential around stairs, furniture, larger pets, and young children. Avoid rough handling and situations where she could fall or become injured. Gentle brushing, age-appropriate play, and reward-based training can help introduce positive daily habits while building trust.

Is Bambi the Right Companion for You?

Bambi may be a wonderful choice for someone looking for a small companion and prepared to meet the responsibilities of puppy ownership. Before bringing her home, ask for veterinary records, vaccination details, health information, and documentation of her age and parentage.
